After posting my complaint, I wrote a letter to Alan Lewis, President of GCT. I received a phone call from a staff member on his behalf who apologized...that\'s it.
He agreed that the offer could be considered misleading and deceptive and lacking clarity. He said they would change the wording immediately, which was done in on-line offers, but has not been done on any written, mailed brochures. He explained that my reward was $500, not the $800 I expected - and offered not so much as a free drink on my next cruise.
Hmmm. Guess they never heard of \'mitigate the outrage!\'

Topic Title:Grand Circle Vacation Ambassador Program Misrepresented
After referring four new travellers to GCT,I expected to receive $200 cash for each traveller. I am being told that I am not to receive the $200 per new traveller as advertised on GCT's website. Take a look at the webpage www.gct.com/Ways-to-Save/Refer-And-Earn.aspx and see what it says. It is clear to me that referring 4-7 new travellers is worth $200 per traveller - not that travellers 1-3 are $100 each and then the 4th is $200. Any comments from management?
